Hey guys :)

whats up ? hope you are doing great.

i was using basic windows 7 theme for a while but i liked the aero theme on some wallpapers but after i changed it to aero my pc starts to lag randomly games even not intensive games such as World of warcraft and to be sure it was Aero while playing i jumped out to desktop changed to basic and in the exact same places and effects where it lagged there was no lag

i dont know what could be the problem since my pc is good :

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe
i5 2500K
560GTX TI (@ 830mhz no oc)
4gb ram
500GB WD BLUE HDD

please help :)

thanks :)

Probably has to do with your 4gb of system memory. Aero uses more ram, and in addition to your gams you're probably getting close to hitting and exceeding your maximum available ram.

well dont u think that my pc is good ? and do u think its a ram issue ? i just check vram while lagging the usage is only 400-480 out of 1012

its unlikely that he's anywhere near his maximum ram... i run win 7 64bit ultimate and all my features are active with aero themes widgets and docks... taking up a grand total of 1.32gigs add in his av and you can probably go to 1.4 gigs total of his available 4 more likely is that the theme you used has either become corrupt or maybe hid a malware.

run a decent antimalware app like malwarebytes and see if anything jumps.

it can also be that your gfx driver has been corrupted when the theme swapped... so maybe repair install your gfx driver 2

first thing while gaming (especially BF3) i go like 85-90% but anyways i managed to fix this problem by turning off LucidV from the bios i dont know how did that turn on i turned it off anyways

i saw someone with this lagging issue in bf3 and i read that he solved it by cooling the ram because it was overheated after a while of playing

now i played a bit and started laggin on ultra in bf3 i touched the ram with my hand and it was extremely hot !

would that really effect the performance ? and what do you suggest me to do ? my ram even has a heat distributor on it
