Lag in games

I have an R9 270x paired with an FX6300. and in games i get occasional lag, not bad but like 30-35fps in medium settings in games like saints row IV, i checked to see if i just couldnt run it by looking at my usage, but my GPU is about 50-60% and my cpu is about 70-75%, they never fully utilize for some reason and i get lag. Any way to fix this? Even on low settings on some games, i get tiny lag spikes for no reason.

Its a steam game unfortunately 🙁. Unless you meant hard disk...If so my HDD is fine.

Does the GPU utilize fully during stress testing / bit mining? Could it be throttling due to unknown reasons?

But still in games...they just seem to get lazy, not fully utilize and hang around at about 50-70 and then i get random lag 🙁.

Atm im JUST playing saints row on Low settings. even though i probably should be playing on Medium-High

Does the same thing happen on high? Can you see a weird setting in Control panel (or what ever AMD calls it)

I seem to have fixed it (In saints row anyway). My GPU still does not fully utilize, however i turned off a setting called Ambient Occlusion, Now my FPS seems to be about 50+ on high, dropping to 35-45 sometimes but thats ok. I cant see any strange settings, i havent changed them at all, i just installed drivers and didnt touch anything. Still strange how the only thing what fully utilizes GPU is stress tests and nothing else goes close.

Try bitmining, if that allows you to get full usage, then there's no problem with the hardware.
