Lag in NFS Most Wanted 2012!!

Hi, i just installed nfs most wanted 2012, but why am i getting lag in highest settings

My Current Rig

Phenom ii x4 OC'd 3.4 Ghz
ASUS M5A97
Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
Sapphire HD 7870
Corsair AX 750

i dont think i should get lag with these config.
what should i do?
help me before im starting to cry 🙁

disable high textures is way to go i think its wrongly mapped

by the way i am playing with my rig which is

i5-760 with 4gb Ram & gt 430 gpu @ 1080p with high textures off

Need for speed most wanted (2012) - lag fix (solucion lag)
There is a "solution" for lag_ in the config file located in \Documents\Criterion Games\Need For Speed(TM) Most Wanted\config.NFS13Save. open as notepad then modify the line with the name "LockTo30″ to true, the lag disappears but the game run always on 30 fps.

I had the same problem (running on i5 3570k & asus 7870) until I turned ambient occlusion from high to medium. I'm pretty sure high textures is more important than ambient occlusion, so I'd recommend leaving the textures as it is and turning ambient occlusion down.

Funny answer..

FPS -> 30 is what I call a "LAG". Minimum 55- 58 Fps (Ideal 60 fps) is required , when we call a game "Lag Free"

This is the way i also play untill they fully fix it..Ill take a solid 30 over jumpy frames that causes lag,poping in the game any day. With this being a bad console port 30 fps works well but they need some tweaking to do to make it run sick at 60 fps
