Lag Spike with Wireless Usb Adapter

Computer to far to be connected by cable so I got a Wireless usb adapter. Ping spikes randomly, but consistently. This is happening to me in League and Overwatch. In both I basically lose a second or two of control while ping spikes

I also found a reddit thread suggesting I go to the cmd promt and type: netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wireless Network Connection" Unfortunately when I did this I received: There is no such wireless interface on the system, instead of: Auto configuration has been disabled on interface "Wireless Network Connection".

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I got this new computer so I could enjoy gaming more and this lag spike is just making me angry.

Don't use wireless. Use power line if you can't run cable. I do..

Honestly, 99% time wireless is useless for serious gaming..
