Hi, so I've recently started getting lag spikes while I'm playing games such as Overwatch or League of Legends. The game freezes for a couple of seconds and after that runs normally, until the next lag spike of course. During these lag spikes I notice that my RTT increases by around 100. I'm not sure what is causing these lag spikes but it's getting really annoying haha. Thanks!
Note: These lag spikes seem to occur during Mid day and Night hours.
My computer specs are:
-Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
-16.0 GB (RAM)
-64 - bit Operating System
-NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960

A likely culprit is wifi interference. Either from another wifi user or from some other radio source such as a baby monitor or cordless phone. Try changing the channel on the router. Or moving closer to the router. Or using the less crowded 5ghz wifi. Latency is always an issue with wifi when gaming.

Sorry, I should have mentioned this but my internet is wired and connected to my router from my PC.

Thank you :)
