HI, i'm getting lag spikes in video games such as tf2 and on netflix.

For instance, When playing tf2 I get a rather annoying lag spike for around half a second sometimes, Usually when there's a guy right there to shoot to tiny bits of course.
Or when watching netflix it will stop and load for a few seconds every now and then.

I have shaw 60 mps internet, A dlink dwa 130 and a shaw motorola router.
the router has 2.4ghz and 5ghz but the dwa130 has only 2.4ghz.

Solution
If you are on wifi, make sure you have a strong signal, and any other network use while you are using the line like other people streaming or downloading can cause this.

With my cable connection which I think is 25 MB, and using a good router, I can get 2 streaming movies and 2 systems with online games running before I hit slowdowns or lag, if there is a file download, even one download and one streaming movie will cause lag for a game.

Also, the 5Ghz is better for streaming, assuming you can get a good connection (it's not so good with obstacles, etc).

How many other devices are on the same network as the one you are having issues with? By this I mean how many are sharing the same wireless connection? You may be saturating your wireless, and/or there may be interference from other nearby networks on same frequency and/or channel.
