Lag spikes occur in some games

OK so i have a big problem,i got lag spikes in online games (mostly there) and i want to know and how to resolve it.
I tryed furmark for graphics card ,everything was ok,tryed cpu stress test was ok,ram stress test,hard health is 100%.I activated "best performance" on nvidia control panel and still lag spikes occur.I think i must reinstall my windows.
I am running windows 7 and my specs are :intel core i5 3340,12gb ram and nvidia 970 OC edition,the hard is sata 2 1tb i don't know the name of it

Did you check your Temps while running games your gpu/cpu could be thermal throttling to protect itself...one more thing has it done this before or did it just start happening?

Started happening ... i think 2 days ago started.
