lag windows 10

Hi!So i have installed windows 10 on my laptop and it's lagging very badly,for ex it's lagging in terraria all settings on low,when i had win 7 it didn't lag,it was perfect.I have searched on google that i need to change the boot mode to legacy in bios,but i don't have the boot option in bios,what i could do?I really like win 10 and i don't want to downgrade to win 7 again
