I am currently getting laggy/stuttery gameplay one every game that I play while maintaining high fps. Drivers are all updated and system has no viruses or malware. Please help!

Are you pushing frame rates higher than your monitor can display. This can feel laggy/jerky to some users.

Try vsync. It will have more input delay, but may smooth things out. Nvidia has something called FastSync that will allow games to run over native and still not have the page tear effect(something that may feel less smooth) without the vsync lag(it just tosses the extra frames that can not be displayed fully to keep the input delay low.).

Have you checked the temperatures. I doubt it is an issue(now that I personally find the Asus Dual cooler great[I say this as an owner of one] it will certainly not overheat).

Not temp issues and the framerate maxes at 144 and i have a 144hz monitor. Vsync doesn't help sadly

Does this only happen when moving the mouse or also with the keyboard. It may sound strange, but even at 60hz a 1000hz mouse felt so much better on some games like Bioshock.

Can you try Windowed and full screen to see if either seems better.

From a hardware point of new your system is very good(some games will push a 1070, but I can not see it being laggy at higher frame rates).

its when i move my mouse and look from like left to right it like stutters both in windowed and fullscreen and makes it almost unplayable. weird part is, sometimes it is really good for like 30 minutes and then starts gettings terrible.

I believe that I have found the issue. I believe that it is my internet, because when I play during "primetime" 12-11pm I get the stutters bit around like 1-2am when I play it is silly smooth. I use an Ethernet so how can I fix this??? Happens during those times while I'm the only one using the internet

If you are playing online(Offline should not be effected by internet), Try other servers that are closer or have better pings.

Unfortunately, the Internet is made up of MANY devices(lots of routers). If any one of them starts dropping packets or taking a long time to pass them along, you can have issues that are outside if your own providers control.

Darn :/ welp thank you for your responsiveness, it's very much appreciated!

So are offline games ok?

When gaming always make sure your system is the only one on the net if you can. Many routers have a QoS feature to help realtime traffic like games music and video.

Again closer servers will have less hops(packets move across the internet one device[mostly routers] at a time)

Here is an example from me to tomshardware. 20 hops(and the times go up as I get farther from home)

Ignore the time outs, not all devices on the internet reply to pings.

http://www.wikihow.com/Test-Network-and-Internet-Latency-(Lag)-in-Microsoft-Windows shows few ways to test for latency.

Agreed. The server is the ball and chain in your scenario. Finding a less crowded bus station might help.

If however it was also happening offline then things would get sticky. You did say every game. What is every game? Are they all MMORPG and MMO games?

Sometimes a reset to your router/modem can work wonders.

Have you ran a speedtest?

shows a happy system. Let's assume the upload was 8MB/s. The internet would happily support competitive online gaming.

Speedtest.net-results.jpg
shows an unhappy system. Very slow up and down speeds with an excessively high ping that suggests satellite or something other than cable or fiber.

speed test has a fine ping of 21 ms and it happens during games such as pubg and rocket league where I can't choose my exact server so I couldn't just pick one that is the closest
