Since about two months I own a new processor/mobo/ram
and am getting small lagspikes every couple of seconds in games like gta 5, battlefield 1
and watch dogs 2.
These spikes appear after about ~15 minutes of gameplay.

On my previous setup all these games ran fine.

Current setup:
ryzen 5 1600x, cooler: bequiet pure rock 2 - bios update H.40
msi b350 arctic
asus gtx 1070 founders edition
crucial ballistix sport 8gb running 2400mhz
seagate 7200rpm 2tb drive
corsair cx500 psu

The setup I had before had a fx-8320 with the msi fxa990-gd80 paired with 16gb of 1600mhz ram, on this setup the modern games ran better.

The temperatures:
without load:
cpu ~40C
gpu ~38C

on load:
cpu ~72C
gpu ~90C

I have tried reinstalling windows, drivers, games, adding fans, swapping the ram, swapping harddrives, updating bios. None of this has worked.

The spikes have so far only appeared in games like gta 5, battlefield 1 and watch dogs 2.
Other games like battlefield 4, overwatch, borderlands 2 and playerunknowns battlegrounds run fine.

If anyone could help me out with some possible solutions that would be great!

Most likely is your RAM, Your RAM limiting games performance. Its not GPU or else you would have the same issue in other games that run fine for u.
As i said earlier try to close as many background...
Those GPU temps do seem rather high. Have you tried using a monitoring utility that shows graphs of the video card's status, like MSI Afterburner, to get a better idea of just what might be happening during those spikes? The fact that it starts after around 15 minutes would make me think that heat might be building up and causing problems.

I have been monitoring for the past 40 minutes, playing gta 5. The stuttering came up as usual, starts with one small stutter a minute and gets to unplayable stuttering. Temperatures of the gpu hovered around 82C, cpu around 72C. Ram usage was 7100mb. Usage of the gpu never game above 98%, and there were lagspike related dips visible.

As i said earlier try to close as many background tasks as possible, but you should upgrade your RAM anyway.
