Does anyone know how safe a lambswool duster would be for screen dusting and general peripheral dusting? I found this thread where someone claims a lambswool duster will scratch polished surfaces: http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/printthread/Board/1/main/25496/type/thread.html

I had been using a feather duster but like some others am concerned the feather quills could scratch... These lambswool dusters seem to be pretty popular in auto detailing where scratches would not be allowed, so I am interested to know if these lambswool dusters do actually have negative affect on surfaces...

Yes I wondered whether lambswool might have a lot of static. It's actually surprisingly difficult to find a nice very soft microfiber hand duster where I live, we do have the OXO Good Grips Microfibre Hand Duster and maybe that would be more suitable but it is surprisingly quite pricey where I am. This one here: http://www.home-essentials.co.nz/oxo_good_grips_microfibre_hand_duster-details.aspx

Another option could be the Turtle Wax Power Mini Duster...
