[SOLVED] LAN cable got pulled and knock down my pc. Wont turn on

Hi, my sister trip on the LAN cable and knocked down my pc. It was in sleep mode because I was about to resume my work after I napped. It wont turn on and led lights from my motherboard are not blinking. I have an asus z170-a. Is there any way i could fix this or is it possible to be fixed since I do not have the money to buy a new component it as I am a college student and used my savings to buy the pc last 2 years ago and i cant afford to buy a new component.

I would unbuild the PC and put it all back together in case something got dislodged.

Then you can troubleshoot from there.

No lights may be a power issue (cable unplugged)

Check all of your components to be well connected to the motherboard,maybe something has disconnected when pc knocked down

Okay, I switched the ram and plug the GPU again and it worked! Thanks! I wonder if it damage my hdd somehow.

The good part is that u fixed it and problem has been solved dont worry about your hdd,if you checked your cables and everything are connected and working well,then you are ok

Try to keep all cables tucked away in future. All mine are behind my desk, impossible to trip over any of them.

Shock from things like this can damage a hdd.

If it works now i would continue to use it as you should always have data backed up either way.

Get a wifi adapter ASAP. It's not your sister fault she tripped on the LAN cable, unfortunately it's your fault for placing it somwhere people can walk.
