Lan cable not detected in windows vista

I have reloaded windows vista in my desktop. Every thing is working fine except that system is not detecting the lan cable. I have tried with a new cable but no luck. Pl advise.

You need to reload the LAN driver. You can download the latest version from the computer or motherboard manufacturer support web site.
