First of all, I wanna say if there is something unclear I'll try to explain it as well as possible, I know a bit of computer but this goes above my head.

My problem is that after I started my pc and log in, in less than 5 minutes I've no internet connection anymore. The pc itself said first that: DNS server not responding.

So I thought, okay maybe it's a fault in the cable.... so I grabbed my older pc plug in the same cable in the same port in the wall, but everything worked even after watching youtube for several hours.

after that, I download/installed the latest bios/driver updates, maybe it would fix. Sadly it didn't work.

Then I asked help to my friend that knows more of it, he tried to reset the network in windows itself, he also used: Cmd > ipconfig /release > then ipconfig /renew.

tried static IP instead of having everything on automatic.

He also tried a PCI-E network adapter, but the same problem also tried it in the older pc but worked fine.

So my question does anyone maybe know a solution?

the pc is an hp Compaq elite 8300 CMT.
Specs:
Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz
RAM
16.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1600MHz CL11
Motherboard
HP I do not know for sure what's called.
Graphics
Nvidia Zotac GT730 4gb
Storage
Samsung Evo 850 SSD 500GB
Seagate 1TB
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

I already wanna thank you all for taking your time to help me.

(also my friend sad it could be windows 10, but to be honest, I do not believe that's the problem)

Solution
If your ISP does not provide IPv6 then disabling it is not a bad thing at all.

I generally recommend that if IPv6 is not available via the ISP then to disable it.

Have noted some indications that doing so does not matter either way....

Good to know that disabling IPv6 worked for you.

But do keep an eye on the Reliability History, etc.. Just in case.

I don't know what we are using in this house, but my dad is the admin, so I'll ask him to have a look.

And if the problem is still not fixed after he had a look at it?

Look at the router's logs if available and enabled.

Note any listed errors, warnings, or problems, especially with respect to your PC/LAN connection.

Possibilities:

1) some router configuration that times your PC out after 5 minutes.

2) perhaps a misconfigured/buggy power saver on your PC kicking in after 5 minutes.

3) background application trying to "phone home" or update after 5 minutes. Again misconfigured or buggy.

You can use Reliability History, Resource Monitor, and Task Manager to troubleshoot your PC (2 and 3 above)

Your dad will need to look at and address router and network issues(1 above).

Work together and see what you can find.

Update your post accordingly.

So we tried all of the above, but without success.
But the weird thing that did help me was disabling ipv6.

Is that a bad thing or?
