Question LAN connection working off and on

Hello everyone. I've been having issues with my new build lately in that the ethernet slots on my motherboard only work occasionally. The major problem is if I can get the working, they'll be fine for the entire day, but the moment I shut my PC off to go to sleep, I'm back to square one with no common fix for the issue. The cables are good, as they're working with my old build, LAN drivers are up-to-date.

My motherboard is a ROG Maximus XIII Hero.

I'm also new to the whole "asking for help troubleshooting," so any relevant information you need that I left out, please don't be afraid to ask.

Did you install the manufacturer drivers for the ethernet card and motherboard chipset? If not, start there.

I did indeed. All drivers for the motherboard, CPU, etc are all installed.

If it matters, my current version of the l225-v LAN drivers are 1.0.2.13.

I won't be able to help much but if you can't fix this, just find a good internet card (either usb or pcie) because those can be better in some cases too.

It's just easier to use a usb one because those are really compatible with a lot of things, just a get a good brand/rated good that doesn't look fake or sketchy, if you can order from amazon and you can mroe thna likely return things there if it doesn't work.

...except that amazon is the place for fakes and sketchy stuff so don't shop there or any 'marketplace' site.

Okay, so let's try something else to validate the hardware. Boot up a linux live cd/usb and see if you have any problems there. If you do, this could be a hardware issue.
