LAN Connectivity Issues

I've been having a problem connecting to the internet with my PC for the last two or so weeks. I switched to AT&T Uverse internet about a week before this problem started. The issue is that I can't connect to certain sites on chrome or use steam, but no network troubleshooter can find any issues. Some sites work just fine in chrome, like YouTube and Yahoo, I can watch videos just fine, and look at my emails, and when I search something on google, I get all the normal results and links and images, but when I try to click the links, most of the sites time out. I've tried fiddling with modem and firewall settings for almost two weeks now, and I think I could use some help. These are my specs/info:

16GB DDR3 memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB
Samsung SSD 840 Series
Pace 5268ac modem/router
Antec HCG 900 (900w power supply)
11 wired connections 10 wireless connections, no wired PC's
Trendnet TE100-S8/AS 8 port Ethernet switch(my PC isn't connected to it)
Connection type: Ethernet/Lan? No controller or anything, the Ethernet cable just plugs into my motherboard

I would use a better browser. Chrome is the crappiest browser around

Did you install the LAN drivers if youre using ethernet?? And your computer is connected with ethernet to the modem???

I'm not sure chrome is the problem, as steam, gog, BitTorrent, etc can't connect to the internet, but I guess I could try that.
I don't recall manually installing any new LAN drivers, and yes, I have an Ethernet cable right from my PC to the modem.

I would look in device manager and see if the drivers for the lan are under network.

If nothing works then its either the drivers or that modem thats the prob (I would say the modem)

This sounds like you are only being allowed access to common ports like 80 and 443 and other ports are being blocked. The most common cause of this is the firewall on your pc being set to the wrong mode. If it thinks it is directly on the internet it runs a more restrictive rule set.
