Lan problem

Hello,

We have a HP probook4530s laptop,when connected to a company's LAN starts slowing down and takes much time to shutdown,the interesting part is when connected to the LAN at our workplace it works perfectly.Can you help me troubleshoot this issue? what could be the reason ?
