Hi all, hope you can help
ISP: Virgin Media on 350Mbps
Windows 10 pc with gigabit NIC connected directly to Virgin Media Superhub 3 via 2m Cat 6 cable
Speedtest app in windows 10 shows DL speed 387.93Mbps
Speedtest.com shows DL speed 120.49Mbps
Actual max download speed 60.23Mbps
All tests done withing a minute of each other
I am struggling to understand why there is such a discrepancy among the numbers above. Why is my actual download speed so much slower that the measured one? And why is there even a difference between using the speedtest app and using speedtest.net. Its very frustrating as I am paying for the 350 connection and only able to utilise a fraction of it .
Can anyone shed any light please?
