I was looking in the lancool pc-k63 case and I saw that it had an actual usb 3.0 cable in the case, this is the first time I've seen this in a case, so I was just wondering, do I have to route it out of the back of the case and into the usb 3.0 point on the motherboard, or is there some other place I can plug it into?

Yes you have to route the USB3 cable out to the back panel on the motherboard. I can't remember atm if this particular case comes with an adapter to allow it to be plugged into a USB2 internal header (and work at USB2 speeds), but it is a feature that other Lian Li cases have.
