Laplink SafeErase deleted my entire operating system - Help!!

I bought PC Mover since I got a new laptop. I tried to use the "Laplink SafeErase" to make sure my old laptop was good for resale. Well, I chose the "highest security" option and hit "SafeErase entire computer" not knowing it would wipe out everything including my operating system! I've now got a black screen asking for a reboot disk. I put in the only disk that came with my old laptop (it says system recovery on it) and my laptop seems do some "thinking" but then I get a blue screen with an error box that pops up and says "This PC is not supported by System Recovery Disks. You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these disks." What can I do to get my old laptop up and running again?

Ouch that is unfortunate. Have you tried calling the support line for your old laptop? I am unsure how that recovery disk works plus I don't know the model of your laptop.
