laptop accidentally unplugged, few minutes later stops working

So i was sitting on a couch watching some netflix when i accidentally turn myself in a way that unplugs the power from my laptop, a few moments later my computer completely dies, after a few attempts it turns back on by reinserting the battery.

Then a few hours later it happens again without being unplugged and it doesnt turn on by reinserting the battery...

Anyone got any advice?

Did you try to reset the electricity?

- Remove all cables or devices connected on the laptop
- Remove the battery
- Hold the power button for atleast 60 seconds.
- Connect the power cable to the laptop. (Without the battery inserted)
- If the laptop starts, you can then put the battery back in the laptop.
- You might also want to disable 'High Performance' if you have this enabled. (Control Panel > Power Options > Balanced )

You might need to retry these steps 3 or 4 times if it did not work on the first try.

Reply if it worked or if it did not work.

Unfortunately your solution did not work, i have tried 3 times over and my computer did not start...
Just one question though: why would holding the power button help if your device is not connected to any power outlets or battery?

Do you see any action from your laptop after pressing the power button? Does your num lock or caps lock blink?

No, not a single light goes on

What about your fan? Is it spinning the first 3 seconds? Or do you absolutely see no action whatsoever after pressing the power button?

It might be a fault in the motherboard if it does not show any sort of life. 8 out of 10 times the electricity reset should do the trick.

The electricity reset is the one I described in my first comment, which did not work for you as you said. Do you still have warranty on your laptop? You could also try removing one of the RAM modules and then powering on the laptop. But only open your laptop if it's out of warranty.

That would be the best solution in your case, because if the basic steps do not work then you would have to move to the advanced ones...
