Dear Community,
Im in the market for a surround sound setup to upgrade what i currently have. My laptop has 1 hdmi port, so could i just connect both the laptop & monitor to an av receiver, and would i then have 2 monitors with surround sound audio? And would the av receiver need to have an arc hdmi port? Or can i use a hdmi to hdmi and optical converter and connect my monitor to the hdmi and receiver to the optical?
