Question Laptop as desktop screen

yo guy so my screen broke bout couple weeks back n i relly need some stuff of my desktop. is there any way to run my desktop on my laptop screen.
running widows 7 on both. thanks.

Laptops generally don't have video inputs, output yes but not in.

If you have a TV capable of connecting via Hdmi from DVI/Hdmi source then id try that route.
