Laptop audio not working since win10 installation

I had installed windows 10 last week on my laptop.Since then i had problems with my laptops inbuilt speakers.sometimes they worked but sometimes they didnt.Two days ago they completely stopped working. please help

Try going to Device Manager and uninstalling the audio drivers. Then restart your PC.

Windows should install the stock audio drivers in its place. If that doesnt work, Google the audio drivers for your exact PC model / Motherboard model (if custom built) and install those.

Did you right click on the audio icon on the taskbar and click Playback Devices to make sure no other audio device is set for default playback?
