Hello everybody,
I have Lenovo Y580 and recently its battery (6 cell) is not doing so well, my max capacity is around 2500 mah. So I looked around and it seems the genuine battery (6700 mah) is not being produced anymore so i thought to change the cells myself. Now my question is if use higher capacity cells, will the chip accept them? I read in a forum that there is safety fuse that could render the pack useless if blown by a difference in voltage or current.
Appreciate any help / suggestions.
P.S. attached a photo of my battery: https://ibb.co/dUFeq6
Cheers
