laptop battery light flashing blue

I have an msi gt60 laptop. Recently the battery light has been flashing blue continuously when fully charged, The only way I've found to stop it is to unplug the power cord and allow the battery to drop below a 100% charge, I've never had this problem before and always use my laptop plugged in. Is this a sign that my battery is bad now or do I need to do something to stop this annoying flashing light?

Most of the other users of the laptop with the same model like yours experienced the same issue were battery light will start flashing for whatever apparent reason. Replacing the battery didn't solved their issue and same goes with formatting the system. Someone suggest that it's just an indicator telling you that the PC is in Sleep mode state.

Don't know why it would indicate I am in sleep mode state when I'm sitting here actually using it as I type this and the light is still flashing blue....anyone else have any suggestions?
