Question Laptop BSOD with the use of Nvidia GPU

Specs are:
Nvidia gtx 1060
intel i7 6700hq @ 2.60 ghz
16 gb ram



So I have an msi gs63vr 6rf laptop computer and whenever I try to run anything that needs heavy nvidia gpu usage I get two alternating BSOD errors. one of the errors is DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and the other is VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. Anything that involves updating my drivers and reinstalling them ive already tried. when running the latest driver version my laptop sometimes crashes on boot up and always crashes whenever I open up any game. but when I downgraded the driver to an older version i can sometimes get a game to run anywhere from 5-20 min before a crash happens. I have already done a clean install of windows on different drives and the problem persists.
Any help would be appreciated.
