So basically I have a laptop and I got 2 monitors one of them is hooked (an hp pavillion 22cw) to the laptop directly using hdmi then I got another monitor (hp 22es) but since my laptop doesn't have another hdmi slot I bought a Targus usb-c digital av multi-port adapter (serial number ACA929EU) I connected the adapter to my laptop got an hdmi connected to the monitor and the adapter but the monitor doesn't detect anything neither does my laptop even when I clicked detect manually I don't know how to fix this I hope someone can help me fix this I have an asus gaming laptop 64 bit 950m gtx, someone please help

Solution
Your laptop needs to have a USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode port for this adapter to work.
Please check your laptops specs or call Asus and ask.
