laptop cant start, powerbutton turn on and off

Hello! I got a problem with my laptop HP probook 4540s When Ipress on the power button, the power button makes a series of short and long light on/offs and will not start up. There is no video on the screen.
I read that it could be memory problem so I tried unplug my second memory (I got 2x4gb) and then laptop started... but when i turned it off again , there was the same problem... and when I plug in there missing memory It starts again normally... and all over again... plug unplug plug unplug to start my system,. Any ideas what could be the problem? THANKS!

Maybe something in the steps for switching the modules.Do you take the battery out for instance?

Yes, I am sure that battery was out

Does it do this also when plugged into the wall? Maybe something with the battery that isn't right.

Yes It behaves same way with battery and also without battery. I tried to run laptop without any memory modul connected and It started without any problem (of course system was not running, just all components were running ). It is weird that IF pc start there are no problems with ram... until next shutdown when laptop wont start again... (only after un/pluging one module)

Can you go into the bios,set it to "optimal default values"? Probably need to tap "delete" at boot to get in there.
