Question laptop charger port broke.

I would try to hook them up exactly as they were before. I would imagine polarity would matter with a port like this since 2 of the pins are likely VCC and common. I wouldn't risk frying anything by reversing polarity, as this would fry older computers and may still damage newer ones.

I would, however I did not see how these wires went.
