laptop charging issue

Laptop battery has been damage .I have change the battery ,but now laptop works only while charging .when charging is turn off laptop shuts down.

So it won't work when the charger isn't connected? Then the battery you bought may well be a bad battery. If you bought an after market battery, those are hit or miss. So you very well could have gotten a bad battery.
