Laptop choices.

Hey guys,
I'm buying myself a new laptop for college, that i can still play games on, so I don't need to lug around my desktop from state to state at the end of the year.
I've been pretty set on the idea of the ASUS G50VT-X1, and the ASUS G50VT-X6 notebooks. Does anyone have any suggestions of comparable notebooks within a 700-1400USD price range?

Must have roughly same or similar specs, 9800 GS or comparable, 4gb 800+, c2d 2.20+. HDD size isn't to big of a concern, i have a 2TB portable HDD.
