My hp ab221tx laptop is having connection problem. Sometimes it says no boot disk, sometimes it says no fan. Sometimes nothing starts but caps lock light blinks for 3 times or sometimes 5 times.

one day i noticed that 1 screw from the bottom fell of. This problem started few days after. That screw was at the bottom of headphone jack.

if try for 10 times or more to start it. It always start without any problem and runs smoothly till I shut it down

It makes weird "thup" sound now alot(when it fails to bootup). The same kind of sound this laptop makes when it shutdows, maybe its the sound of fans turning off

Can you tell me how to repair this problem at home? I have opened my laptop and replaced hdd with sdd before, so can you tell me what to look for inside?

My laptop has windows 10

Which version of Windows 10 are you on? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard/laptop?

The thup sound you've mentioned is akin to what you'll hear when the laptop powers down the HDD and shuts off prematurely...which might mean that the HDD might be on it's way out.

I have everything up to date. Windows is home version.

I don't have hdd in the laptop anymore it's ssd. And the sdd is only 2 years old
