Laptop cooling pad

My Dell Inspiron 8400 generates a lot of heat while perched on my lap.
I was looking into laptop cooling pads.. Is one brand better then the
other? Any recommendations out there? CompUSA brand? Targus brand?

I use one of these with my I8500 for couch surfing.

It works very well. The computer is noticeably cooler. Lap cool too. 🙂

They've just come out with this one which adds the convenience of additional
USB ports but requires an AC power adapter which the older one does not.
