Hi, I recently bought the Asus Zenbook Flip 15 (UX561UD) ultrabook. Included was an i7-8550u intel processor and a nvidea GTX 1050. I've been playing The Witcher 3 on it lately and my cpu seems to always average at 80-85 degrees while I'm playing. I don't know alot about cpu's and I'm worried I'll destroy my cpu like this. Is it normal for my cpu to be this hot, and how long would my laptop last if I was to keep gaming on it like this.

The settings don't seem to matter, wether I play it on low, medium or high settings, the temperatures do not change. I might have better fps on lowest settings, but the temperature of my cpu stay exactly the same.

I've checked and my fans are indeed running. Could this have anything to do with the stock thermal paste, because even in idle mode, my cpu is averaging 55-60 degrees, wich i don't think is normal.

I think you have to change your
Thermal paste.

Or hand it over to Service center
