Hello!

I have a Asus Rog Zephyrus G15 (Ryzen 7 4800HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q) (All tests were done on a flat surface)
ive had it for about 2 weeks, and at the beginning, overheating was definitely a noticeable issue. Playing Cod on competitive settings i was getting 144fps {capped} but CPU was at 95 C.
And it was the same issue with other titles like ESO and Fortnite. (Not on max settings).

I then did research on this model and found out that Asus put small plastic covers over the intake fans, so i then removed them which gets rid of the warranty. I then removed the back cover and heat sinks and reapplied thermal paste. I then tested cpu temps on the same games to no prevail. Cpu runs at 90C-102C on 20-40% Load and 70c at idle.

I then purchased a laptop cooling pad to see if that made a difference, and soon found out that it made no difference.

The GPU runs at 60-70C under 90% load. The gpu cooling is great.
If you have any ideas about a better way to cool the cpu please comment and let me know!
