Laptop cpu upgrade from i5 to i7 can it be done and be stable

i have a gateway nv5929u laptop with an i5 cpu and was wondering if i can upgrade to an i7 its the same socket right the motherboard should be able to handle it right ? i also want to upgrade the ram to 8ghz and install a ssd hard drive
i just need to get some advise from some pros to see if it is possible

Is the CPU in that model able to be removed? I have done a quick search and I cannot find any teardowns of that model. Most laptops have the CPU soldered directly to the motherboard and therefore cannot be upgraded.
