Hi. I was installed C2E QX9300 on my Satellite P305. It turns on for 5 seconds and restarts. But screen is black and satellite logo not working. I tried bend some pins of CPU and still not working. What should i do? Please help

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite P305-S8915
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo T6400
Chipset: GM45/GM47

I would NOT expect this to work simply because you have an <8lb 35w dualcore-only machine and are attempting to put a 45w quadcore into it. The VRM and cooling system have to be designed to handle this kind of power, and 15 years ago the number of large desktop-replacement laptops that could accommodate quadcore was very small and they tended to be well over 12lbs.

Don't you think this would've been a very popular upgrade over the last 10 years if it had worked? I know I would've preferred quad back then even if it thermal throttled after a minute or two. Instead everybody upgraded to T9500 or T9900 depending on what FSB their laptop motherboard supported.

T6400 and QX9300 have same microcode
Yorkfield - cpu code 10677
Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor QX9650, QX9770, QX9775
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q8200, Q8200S, Q8400, Q8400S, Q9300, Q9400,
Q9400S, Q9450, Q9500, Q9505, Q9505S, Q9550, Q9550S, Q9650

Penryn/QC - cpu code 1067A
Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor X9000, X9100
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9000, Q9100
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6400, T6500, T6670, T8100, T8300, T9300, T9400,
T9500, T9550, T9600, T9800, T9900, SU9300, SU9400, SU9600, SP9300,
SP9400, SP9600, SL9380, SL9400, SL9600, SL9300, P7350, P7370, P7450, P7550,
P7570, P8400, P8600, P8700, P8800, P9500, P9600, P9700

QX9300 isnt listed in intel CPU id list, but google shows it being yorkfield, so different CPU microcode than Penryn

technically you can do that, laptop manufacturers usualy offered variety of CPUs withing their model range (they still do)

i did replace dual core 25w with tripple core 35watt and since just replacing thermal paste and thermal pads on vrms, notebook runs much faster and at lower temperatures (its drect die cooling afterall), i also replaced hdd with ssd and ccfl tn backlit display with led ips panel to reduce power back to what it roughly was
