Laptop Damage Question

Hello, recently I used my family's computer to download Hitman: Absolution that I bought on Steam during the sale because I want to give it a try. I have downloaded 11 GB ( out of 13.5 GB ) while going to my grandmother's house.

However, I still have a total of 2.5 GB remaining. Which I need 18 hours since my Internet was ten times slower than my grandmother's house. so I decided to split it up to 8 hours per day and finish it in two days when I go out.

I finished downloading 1.3 GB today but I need to ask. Is it safe to use this settings during a 8 hour's download, did it done any harm to the laptop?

These are the settings I configured in Power Plan:

Turn off the display after: 1 minutes
Display Brightness: Minimum
Maximum Processor State: 68%

These are the other things I done not in the Power Plan:

Remove the battery and use A/C Adaptor.
Did not use the computer totally during download


Is it okay or It done damage to my computer already? I need some help. Thank you.

Hello, I used the computer after 4 hours of turning it off, and a BSoD appeared : DPC Watchdog Violation. But after that no BSoD appeared and I can't reproduce the error. Does that means it is fine now or I am facing some problems. Thank you

Probably just blow the dust out of it and use a laptop cooler. That's all it should need.
