Laptop+DDR3+Memory+Expansion+Slot.. add on to my Acer e510 4828

I have the above mentioned Acer, the board has one slot available and empty second layout pinned but no slot, how can I find a DDR3l expansion slot and mount it to the pinned area?

I have the same laptop and I wondered why ACER did that. Was it to save 5 cents or to differentiate their low end laptop for their high end laptops. Unfortunately, I don't believe they make a kit like you are asking for as it would require soldering to install it.

Might be better off just taking out the 4GB memory and installing an 8GB memory module. Quicker and easier for what I suspect would be about the same price if they did sell a kit.

No I appreciate your input, however I am send it back to Acer, it is believed to be an oversight. tried installing an 8Gb, it would not even turn on. So back to the factory. I will let you know what happens.
