laptop decisions ?

i am thinking of a laptop to buy.
i already have a laptop but need a smaller laptop that is more portable and can use on trains etc.
i was thinking of buying a macbook 13 retina or the dell xps 13. I wont be doing to much heavy gaming but i will be coding alot so battery life is a must. Could you suggest some laptops that are good or review the two laptops that i just listed and tell me what you think? thanks in advance.

I would go for Dell XPS 13, but you kinda need to decide for yourself.
Are you willing to learn a whole new OS if you havent used a Mac before?
Both Macbook air and Dell XPS 13 are brilliant computers.

yeah i have used mac os before, easy to pick up. I think im just going to try out the macbook and see how it feels, thanks for answer

Since you used Macbook before, you should go for the Macbook air, since you most likely already got your documents in the iCloud, and Macbook is pretty sweet 😉

yeah was thinking about the air but the screen resolution is a big put off, like spending hours on the macbook air would really put a lot of stress on the eyes. thats just my opinion
