Laptop detects WiFi but...

So my Laptop detects WiFi but when I go to browsers, it says no WiFi. Help would be nice.

You should see a signal icon in the lower right of your screen. Click it should bring up all the WIFI connections near you. Select one and connect. You may have to enter a password and set it to auto if its your main WIFI access. The icon looks like the image below.
