My laptop display started flickering randomly. The flicker displays a dying screen with black red and green vertical lines.
The issue itself is not a software problem as I reinstalled the graphics drivers.
What I suspect? I probably typed with my hand still being wet after washing and hence it went down to the motherboard and triggered the flicker.
The flicker itself is like a really fast screen refresh, it's like blinking but with a black screen for a fraction of a second.
What I tried:
I connected the Laptop display to an external monitor by HDMI, I duplicated the display both internal and external and the flicker doesen't occur there on the external HDMI connected monitor, but just on the internal laptop display.
Any idea what the culprit might be? Could it be the graphics card? Motherboard? Or just the internal laptop display connections?
