Laptop display flickers and shows dark squares.

My laptop just recently started flickering and showing dark lines and squares. When I hover around on the open window, the lines and squares change and sometimes its difficult to click on my files and folders. This happens when I open windows explorer, and goes away when I close and open the window again. Sometimes it persists and I have to restart the PC.

I own a Sony vaio VPCSBFH model
- Intel Core i3, 4gb ram
-64 bit Operating system
-Radeon graphics

Hi, do you have the same problem on an external monitor? If not, I suggest you reinstall the display cable.
