Help - Laptop display shows a flickering stripe 1cm thick (top 1cm of screen wrapped around) at the bottom over taskbar of screen every 2-3 seconds.

Laptop display (not attached to any monitor) shows a stripe at the bottom over taskbar. Stays on for ~2seconds and then comes back about 2-3 seconds. Repeats without fail.

Video here: View: https://imgur.com/dzvi8gG

You can see it at the bottom Left just over "Click here to search" every 2-3 seconds.
What you see in that stripe is top ~1cm of the screen wrapped around at the bottom.

(the issue is only bottom 1 centimeter of the screen. Ignore the middle of the screen reflection due to camera).

What could cause it? How to fix it?

Laptop is HP IdeaPad Z580. Updated all Display drivers.
Also if I use a "Screen recorder" like OBS Studio, the recorder of the screen doesn't capture the flicker. So used phone camera to capture the flicker.

Reseat which connection?
It doesn't seem to be a connection issue as tried pushing/poking the display with no effect. Also, because the flicker at the bottom of the screen you can see in video seems to show about 1cm of what's at the top of the screen, which wouldn't typically occur with connection issues I think.

Open it up, re-seat the connection. Issue could be with several things, inverter if the system has one, LCD screen itself, connection to motherboard.
