laptop displays the BIOS menu cannot go futher

hi, my laptop (lenovo x100e) is stuck on the BIOS menu, keyboard is not working and usb ports are not working to plug in an external keyboard, tried to shut it down several times but when i turn it on again displays the bios menu again, keeps on displaying the bios menu every time i turn it on

First off, check the Device Manager to see if any devices are reporting faulty.

If not, your options are to run Startup Repair or re-install the OS. Either way, once you're back up and running, I'd recommend that you back up your system with a disk imager (Macrium Reflect) or a snapshot tool (Rollback Rx)

I cannot log in to the window because every time I turn it on it goes straight to the bios menu, I did reload windows by putting the harddrive into another device because when I try reloading it doesn't pickup the usb cd rom
