Laptop does not charge, ran out of battery won't turn on

I was on my laptop as always then I got a low battery warning but it was plugged in as it's always been. After trying to find a fix it turned off. Now it won't turn back on. I've tried the hold power button and it also won't turn on with the battery removed, any ideas?

Could be. Do chargers just go poof after amount of time. I haven't really touched as it's always plugged in. Maybe I overused it. I'll check it out.
