Question Laptop doesn't boot even bios or just no display ?(HP Elitebook 8460p)

As the title says I turn it on the fans are spinning and also the hard disk but I don't see anything on the screen turning on here's the image of the laptop. I tried plugging an external monitor but this the only output. I don't know which is at fault here or can it still be fix by myself hope this get's attention here.

When you hooked up the external monitor did you press the fn & f4 key to connect it?

yes as I tried every solution I found in the net then I tried it again just now I plugged it in before turning it on external monitor display is just like on the laptop but then after pressing fn+f4 external monitor turn blue. its the onboard graphics is it ?

It's one of two things, gpu died or your motherboard did I would guess to say. The external display showing nothing usually means this.
