Question Laptop doesn't charge after it fell

There was nothing wrong with the laptop untill it didn't charge anymore, which was likely after when I dropped it accidentally from my bed on the floor on its back when it was partial closed

That happened at night [laptop was still on] and when I woke up the laptop still worked, but it didn't charge anymore. After it didn't have any battery left it didn't go on anymore.

I opened the laptop and everything was still looking alright and in place

What could be the failing part?
The battery? or something else

Make and model laptop?

Was the charging cable plugged in at the time of the fall?

If so, the cable plug and/or charging port could be been damaged.

Just how open is "opened the laptop"?

Hey, It's an aspire e15 [ E5-575G-31MD] , yes the laptop charging cable was still plugged in when it fell. Now I don't know if it's either the battery, charging cable or maybe the laptop [motherboard] itself.

[I tried to pull out the battery and just use the charging cable, but it didn't work.]
