Laptop doesnt work after ram upgrade

Laptop asus x553m with 2gb ram
Removed this:
2gb 1rx16 pc3L 12800s 11 13 c3
Hmt425s6cfr6a-pb no aa 1506
New one:
4gb 2rx8 pc3 12800s 11 ddr3 1600 cl11
Am1u16bc4p2-b19c
İ push start only green Power Light pc dont work
Help!

Incompatible ram
you probably need to match the 1Rx16 (single rank x 16 databits wide (4 chips)) in 8gb size.

I assume you re-installed the old ram and the system is still working fine?

I found that old ram 1.35v new ram 1.5v can it be the reason?

edit: I replaced the old one now.
I am not gonna do anything till I find out whats the problem causing it because it is very hard to replace rams in this laptop you can see from here;

why would they design it like that? Thats terrible. The increased voltage requirements may be an issue. You could try changing your DRAM voltage to match the 1.5 in your bios (i usually put it .1 volts over) but if the comp isnt posting popatim is most likely correct, incompatible.

please help,
I called asus they said for 4gb ram I have to pay minimum 300 TL (I bought laptop 740TL, 1 us dollar =2.9TL)x

I looked here;

It shows me some rams that are compatible, but I cant find any info about #Rx## thing
I fear if I buy ram and it doesnt fit my money goes to waste plus all the effort to open laptop etc

Send an email to crucial as well, they will be very helpful. Basically just copy and past what popatim said and email it to crucial and they will find what you need.

I took a risk and it worked.
bought same brand ram only difference is its 4gb and 2Rx8
high chance it didnt work at first time cos of voltage.
